The Panateneas (in Ancient Greek'''''''''' Panat'naia) were a landscapes religious festival taking place every year in Athens dedicated to Athena, goddess Poly (protector of gallery the city), and they had place between 23 and 30 months of hecatombeon (first month in the calendar attic) equivalent to the second half of the current month of July. Religious celebrations were the oldest and canvas largest Athens.
Moreover, every four years, held the Great Panateneas that lasted four days that sculpture year and were the most prestigious and cherished by the citizens of Athens, similar in importance to the Olympic prints Games or the Panhellenic Games. The amphorae were carved on one side with the image of the goddess oil painting and the other with an engraving painting of the winner.
